30th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

We did not have a formal Club meeting in December; instead, we celebrated our 30th birthday.
Two hundred seventeen (217) members came together to help us celebrate. The evening was
full of camaraderie, meeting new friends, enjoying food, talking fishing with our Captains, and,
for many, hopefully winning terrific prizes! The Everglades room was full, and the energy was
electric. Our visiting Captains were amazed at what they saw and were excited to be a part of
our celebration. Thanks to the generosity of our Captains and the local community, the Club
raffled off more than 50 prizes that members could win. The scope ranged from fishing
charters, to gear, to gift cards to restaurants in The Villages, to some unique items for the
home! The member's generosity in buying raffle tickets was amazing.
If you missed it, you missed a great evening! A picture is worth a thousand words, so here are
lots of words! They are also available on the Club’s Website by clicking here.

Charlie Pryde has given us another excellent video of a fishing trip -
his 44 hour adventure on the Gulfstar "Endurance" out of Tarpon Springs to the Middle Grounds and the Elbow. Jun 30 - July 2. Go to the YouTube channel "Pryde of the Villages", like his page and subscribe. You will find many more great videos besides fishing like a monthly report on Village activities, local beach and island trips, out of country cruises and even MORE. https://www.youtube.com/results...

Thanks, Charlie.

Our guest speaker for January’s meeting
will be one ofour own club members, Captain Keith Kalbfleisch. With
over 30 years of fishing experience in the Mosquito and
Indian River Lagoons, Keith brings a wealth of knowledge
he’s eager to share with our members. He will lead an in-
depth seminar on bottom fishing, covering everything
from gear and bait to techniques and expert tips. Whether
you're a seasoned angler or just getting started, this
seminar will provide valuable insights on catching
delicious fish like snapper and grouper. Get ready for a hands-on, “how-to”
presentation designed to help you reel in bigger catches and enhance your fishing experience!

The doors open at 6 PM, and the meeting starts at 6:30 PM. See you there!
